Dear Sir
Sub : Introduction of more RTC Services from HiTec City Station / Streamlining RTC Services from HiTec City Station

This has reference to the decision of RTC to ply buses from HiTec City station till VBIT Park. From the MMTS Travellers Group, we appreciate this decision of yours and sincerely THANK YOU for this move.
At this juncture, we would like to bring to your notice few issues that are prevailing with respect to running buses from HiTec City Staion :
  • First of all, buses are not being aligned with the MMTS Timings. (There are instances where the RTC buses leave before the Train arrives). Please operate the bus services after the train services so that maximum utilization can be had.
  • Secondly, there are no adequate services to carry the passengers. Nearly we see around 120-150 passengers use the RTC services from each train in the morning peak hours. But we don’t have the necessary services to meet this demand. Please operate more services to meet the increase in passenger traffic.
  • Currently, the buses are being operated only in route from HiTec City Station till VBIT Park via Cyber Towers. Since there are many companies like Satyam, Oracle situated near the Info City, we request you to consider operating buses in those routes also. (Enclosed is the proposed route map for your kind consideration from the Group)
  • Next, the buses are being detained for almost 10 minutes or more between HiTec City station and Cyber Towers for issuing tickets. For a journey of nearly 15 minutes, retaining buses for 10 minutes or more does not make sense at all, as this increase the travel time. Hence, please arrange to issue seasonal tickets / weekly tickets for this short route. Or at least make this combined pass valid for “Metro” services too.
We request you to kindly consider the above points and take appropriate measures so that the MMTS commuters can have a peaceful travel to their offices.
Thanking You
For MMTS Travellers Group
